To tackle these challenges, we designed and implemented a holistic insights and analytics platform that unified data across key operational systems, including POS, Ticketing, Workforce Management, and Inventory systems. This cloud-based platform provided MLSE with real-time access to essential data, enabling them to optimize staffing, manage inventory efficiently, and make data-driven decisions before, during and after events.

Data Integration: Seamless integration with Oracle Micros (revenue information), YellowDog (inventory system), Workforce (labor management), and Ticketmaster (ticketing).

Real-Time Analytics: A mobile-responsive dashboard that provides real-time insights for on-the-go decision-making.

Resource Optimization: The platform enabled MLSE to adjust staffing levels based on real-time data, reducing overtime and improving labor cost efficiency.

AI/ML Foundation: The solution laid the groundwork for future AI/ML applications to further enhance operational efficiency.

The Result

Substantial Cost Savings and Operational Improvements

The implementation of the DASH real-time analytics platform at MLSE led to substantial cost savings and operational improvements across their food and beverage operations:

Cost Optimization: The DASH platform enabled MLSE to save approximately $120,000 annually by reducing the need invest in 1.5 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) positions within the BI team and allowed them to redirect their efforts toward more strategic, value-added tasks. Additionally, by discontinuing the CFO2 platform, MLSE achieved an additional $67,000 in annual savings, further enhancing their operational efficiency.

Event-Specific Savings: We also enabled MLSE to achieve of potential savings of at least $100,000 for each hosted event, thanks to the efficiency and real-time insights provided by the DASH platform.

Scalable Solutions: Beyond immediate food and beverage operations, the DASH framework was designed with scalability in mind. MLSE has the potential to extend the platform’s capabilities to other areas such as retail, where it could be used to track stock levels and inform staffing decisions, creating further cost efficiencies.
